  19. You cannot connect to servers whose share names are more than 17
  20. characters. For example:

  22.    net use lpt1: \\nine56789\nine56789

  24. However, the following command does work:

  26.    net use lpt1: \\nine56789\eight678

  31. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and Windows NT
  32. Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in the latest U.S.
  33. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. For
  34. information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in
  35. the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
